Diploma Programs

The accelerated diploma programs offered at Caris College are designed to teach you the skills needed to start your new career in the shortest time possible. Flexible class schedules allow you to continue working your full time job while going to college. Many students choose the diploma programs at Caris College to learn a skilled trade that will provide them with financial stability and job security for many years to come.   1. All applicants must be at least eighteen years old prior to the start of class or have a parent’s signature to enroll in school
  2. All applicants must have earned either a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate prior to enrollment

Associate Degree Program

Caris College is accepting a limited number of applications for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. This two-year program is designed to prepare students to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations required of an entry-level general sonographer to include, but not limited to, the abdomen, pelvis, pregnant female pelvis, and superficial structures. Due to the high volume of applicants and the competitive nature of this program, Caris College can only consider applicants who complete the admissions requirements, listed below, on a first come first serve basis. Students who choose to apply for this program must have the ability to attend class and/or complete externship hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

  1. All applicants must be at least eighteen years old prior to the start of class or have a parent’s signature to enroll in school
  2. All applicants must have earned either a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate prior to enrollment
  3. Passing score for the entrance examination in reading and math
  4. Background check ($50 non-refundable service fee)
  5. Two-page essay
  6. Two letters of recommendation
  7. Official High School Transcript
  8. Individual interviews with the program director

Applicants are required to be in good health, free of communicable disease, and have the ability to fully participate in the discipline in which they seek acceptance without risking injury to themselves or others.
