Associate degree programs at Caris College offer a more comprehensive education, combining classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experience in an externship to help prepare students for advanced roles in health professions. The admissions requirements for associate degree programs typically include:

1. High School Diploma or GED: Similar to diploma programs, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

2. All applicants must be at least eighteen years old before the start of class or have a parent’s signature to enroll in school. 

3. Letters of Recommendation: Applicants will be asked to provide two letters of recommendation from teachers, employers, or other individuals who can speak to their academic abilities and character.

4. Admissions Interview: Applicants are required to participate in an admissions interview with the program director of the program they are applying to discuss their career goals and suitability for the program.

5. Entrance Exams: Applicants are required to have a passing score for the entrance examination in reading and math to qualify for admission. 

6. Background Check: There is a $62 non-refundable service fee for Practical Nursing and Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
