What Career Path Will You Choose?

Brenna – Patient Care Tech

“I have always wanted to work in the medical field… especially in a Hospital. When I chose Caris College and the Patient Care Tech program as my new career I knew I would be able to fulfill that desire!

I am looking forward to utilizing all of my certifications that I have earned: EKG, Phlebotomy, and Patient Care.

In a hospital every day is different and the needs of the doctors and nurses I will assist and the needs of the patients I will work one-on-one with will be different!

I am excited to start my career in such a fast paced environment!”

Olivia – Patient Care Tech

“After I complete my externship at Caris College, I would like to work at the Red Cross.

Not only will I be providing a community service that can help people locally and nationally, I will be able to do what I love to do on a daily basis… Phlebotomy!

Needles and blood are not for everyone but I truly enjoy the practice of drawing blood and interacting with the patients.

I can’t wait to get my Patient Care Technician Career started!”

Gretchen – Patient Care Tech

“As a graduate of Caris College with my national certifications in Patient Care, Phlebotomy, and EKG, I am hoping to start my career at a Dialysis Patient Care Center.

I will get to work with the nurses to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatments for patients. As a Patient Care Technician we are often the teammate who spends the most ‘one-on-one’ time with the patients at the center.

As someone who is looking forward to working closely with the patients to provide treatment and support, this will be a rewarding and fulfilling opportunity for me.

I am excited to get started!”
