Heather Shirley

Heather joined the Caris College team in August 2018 as the Clinical Support Specialist for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

Heather took general education classes at WKU, then transferred to Bowling Green Community and Technical College for the Sonography program where she graduated with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science – Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She recently went back to college online at University of the Cumberland’s and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with a minor in Business.

Prior to joining Caris College, Heather worked at Hardin Memorial Hospital for more than seven years as an Ultrasound Technologist. She is also the wife of a pastor and does a lot of work in the church.

Heather loved working with students during their clinical rotations at Hardin and is excited to get to be a part of their education here at Caris College.

When she is not working, Heather loves to spend time with family, especially her husband and baby boy! She also enjoys working in the church that her husband pastors; including teaching classes, planning events and preparing meals.
