Talise joined the Caris team as the Clinical Coordinator in March 2024. She grew up volunteering with animal rescue and fostering animals in need. She began her career in veterinary medicine in 2018. Since then she has worked in general practice, laboratory medicine in a hematology study, emergency and critical care in a veterinary ICU, and with exotic pets. She currently spends her free time taking care of her many special needs rescue animals. Which include a chihuahua, four cats, and a green cheek conure. She also loves hiking, swimming, and kayaking in the summer. She is passionate about helping new veterinary professionals get the best start in their careers.
