PCT VS. CNA: ONE STUDENTS JOURNEY Autumn, a current Patient Care Technician student at Caris College, is currently working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a long-term care nursing home. Autumn said there is a big difference when comparing the job responsibilities and duties of a Patient Care Technician (PCT) and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
