Caris College Programs

Caris College currently offers three accelerated and hands-on programs. With both day and evening classes available, Caris College helps students continue their education by providing flexible class times that fit their schedules.

Caris’s accelerated diploma programs are focused both in the healthcare and dental fields. Students have the opportunity to earn diplomas in our Patient Care Technician and Comprehensive Dental Assisting programs. Caris College also offers an accelerated Associate Degree of Applied Science program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Our ultrasound program is an accelerated two-year program in which students will earn their Associates Degree of Applied Science for General Sonography. General Sonography focuses on OBGYN, small parts, and large abdomen areas.

Patient Care Technician [Phlebotomy | EKG | Patient Care]

Our Patient Care Technician program prepares students to earn three separate health care diplomas in one program: Phlebotomy, EKG, & Patient Care.

It is a very competitive field as you are able to work in a variety of settings with three certifications. We have past graduates working in dialysis centers, emergency rooms, intensive care units, and critical care units; just to name a few. It is a good field to get into as you will be working side by side with nurses and doctors and the job path can be very lucrative leading to careers in nursing, diagnostics, and many others depending on your interests.

Comprehensive Dental Assisting [EDDA & X-Ray Certified]

Our Comprehensive Dental Assisting Program is an accelerated program with students graduating in just 10 months. Caris College prepares students with both basic dental assisting as well as  EDDA [Expanded Duties Dental Assisting] training and certification. Students are also prepared to get their Dental X-ray certification as well as pass the DANB exam.
